Devil Square

Devil Square asks one thing of those who step into it: stay alive. The monsters come in waves, the clock runs for twenty minutes, and every kill goes on the scales when the places are handed out.
Entry
Devil Square runs every 2 hours - at 00:30, 02:30, 04:30 and so on until 22:30, server time. The entrance opens 5 minutes before the start and shuts the moment the event begins; the fight starts at once and lasts 20 minutes. 1 minute after the results, the map closes.
A tier holds up to 15 players, and parties are allowed. The DS tier is decided by your current resets - not by character level, class or Master Level - and your own bracket is the only one you can enter.
| Event tier | Resets | Standard ticket |
|---|---|---|
| DS1 | 0-19 | Devil's Invitation +1 |
| DS2 | 20-34 | Devil's Invitation +2 |
| DS3 | 35-49 | Devil's Invitation +3 |
| DS4 | 50-74 | Devil's Invitation +4 |
| DS5 | 75-99 | Devil's Invitation +5 |
| DS6 | 100-149 | Devil's Invitation +6 |
| DS7 | 150-215 | Devil's Invitation +7 |
A character may enter Devil Square 3 times a day, 4 with VIP.
The way in is through Charon in Noria (171, 104). Put the ticket in your inventory and speak to the NPC while the entrance is open. A standard Devil's Invitation is spent whole on a single entry.
Buying the ingredients
Devil's Eye and Devil's Key are sold in NPC shops. The handy sellers are Rosie in Lorencia (123, 135), Willow in Noria (173, 125) and Frost in Devias (226, 25). All of them carry DS ingredients +1 to +3 only; +4 to +7 come from monsters alone. The Jewel of Chaos is yours to find separately.
A ready Devil's Invitation +1 to +3 is sold by the Skill Shop for warriors in Lorencia (137, 131).
Monsters drop the ingredients too, and the level of what falls depends on the map, not on the monster: +1 in Lorencia, Noria, Devias, Dungeon and Kalima 1; +2 in Atlans, Lost Tower 1-7, Tarkan, Elbeland and Kalima 2; +3 in Icarus, Aida, Kanturu 1 and Kalima 3; +4 in Kanturu Island, Epic Swamp, Vulcanus, Crywolf, Barracks, Refuge and Kalima 4; +5 in Kanturu 2, Karutan 1, Swamp of Calmness, Ruined Lorencia and Kalima 5; +6 in Karutan 2, Land of Trials, Ruined Devias and Kalima 6; +7 in Raklion 1-2 and Kalima 7.
Crafting a ticket

Bring 1 Devil's Eye +N, 1 Devil's Key +N and 1 Jewel of Chaos to Chaos Goblin in Noria (180, 103) and mix them. The Eye and the Key must be of the same level, from +1 through +7. Success gives a Devil's Invitation of that level; failure takes the ingredients and the Zen.
These are the base fees of the active recipes - without the price of the ingredients and without the Chaos Machine tax that may come on top. The final cost and the success rate are shown in the mixing window.
| Ticket and ingredient level | Crafting fee, Zen | Base success rate |
|---|---|---|
| +1 | 100 000 | 80% |
| +2 | 200 000 | 80% |
| +3 | 400 000 | 80% |
| +4 | 700 000 | 80% |
| +5 | 1 100 000 | 70% |
| +6 | 1 600 000 | 70% |
| +7 | 2 000 000 | 70% |
Playing the event
Kill the waves of monsters and stay alive until the 20 minutes are over. The make-up of the waves shifts as the event goes on. The more points you hold, the higher your place in the final table, and every credited monster is worth its level multiplied by the number of the DS tier.
The final reward goes only to those who are still in the event when the results are drawn up. Whoever dies drops out of the ranking and leaves without it. The first 10 places are rewarded; places 11-15 receive neither the final Zen nor the bonus experience. A win in the DS ranking is counted for first place alone. Completing DS brings no fixed reward box and no Epic Coins / Epic Bonus reward.
Zen by placement
The reward is paid to every participant who holds the place.

Entry problems
Check your reset bracket, the ticket level, the entry time and the player limit. Any PK status, from the first Outlaw stage, blocks entry. Close the trade and Chaos Machine windows before you go in. Once your resets carry you into another bracket, the standard ticket has to be replaced with one of the matching level.
Which resets each level admits
| Level | Resets |
|---|---|
| DS1 | 0 - 19 |
| DS2 | 20 - 34 |
| DS3 | 35 - 49 |
| DS4 | 50 - 74 |
| DS5 | 75 - 99 |
| DS6 | 100 - 149 |
| DS7 | 150 - 215 |
Your reset count decides the level, not your character level, class or master level. You cannot enter a level above or below your own.
