By playing on EPICMU ONLINE you accept these rules. Not knowing them does not excuse a violation.

How violations are punished

The main penalty on the server is not a ban but prison. A GM sends the character to a separate map that cannot be left and sets the way out: kill a number of monsters there, spend a set time there in game, or both. Sometimes the GM allows a buyout in Epic Coins. In prison the global chat (/post), teleports, offline mode and resets are closed, and the character does not even have to be online - the sentence meets it at the next login.

The more serious the violation and the more often it is repeated, the harder the conditions. Accounts are banned only for cheating and for repeated serious violations. More in the Prison article.

1. Prohibited

1.1 Exploits, cheats and third-party programs. Any modification of the game or launcher files, programs that give an advantage, abusing game bugs, or helping others do so.
Penalty: permanent account ban and device ban.

1.2 Selling in-game valuables for real money. Any trade of characters, items or currency for real money outside the site's official services.
Penalty: prison; when repeated, an account ban.

1.3 Flooding. Posting the same message more than twice within a short time.
Penalty: prison; longer when repeated.

1.4 Insults, obscene language and threats. Includes political slogans, Nazi propaganda and real-life threats.
Penalty: prison.

1.5 Insulting or threatening the administration.
Penalty: prison; when repeated, an account ban.

1.6 Character names similar to the administration's. Allowed only with the administration's approval.
Penalty: prison until the name is changed; if refused, a character ban.

1.7 Disrupting events or tournaments.
Penalty: disqualification and prison.

1.8 Advertising third-party projects.
Penalty: prison; when repeated, an account ban.

1.9 Damaging the server's reputation.
Penalty: prison.

1.10 Deceiving the administration. False reports, fabricated evidence, impersonating an administrator.
Penalty: prison; when repeated, an account ban.

1.11 Unfair point farming in PvP events. Arranged fights, playing several accounts, AFK farming.
Penalty: disqualification and prison.

2. Allowed

2.1 Killing other players. PvP is part of the game; complaints about kills are not reviewed.

2.2 Kill stealing (KS). Competing for monsters is part of the game; complaints are not reviewed.

3. Administration

3.1 The administration never asks for your password or items. Beware of scammers.

3.2 The administration does not threaten players. If someone threatens you with a ban, they are most likely a scammer.

3.3 The administration may restart or stop the server when maintenance or updates require it.
