Serious error sort items

There is a bug with the auto-sort system that causes locked items—specifically TOCA items—to disappear. This morning, while preparing to upgrade my gear, I clicked "sort," and the items vanished completely. I request that the admin look into this and restore them. Thank you.

I’ve checked further, and it also causes other locked items—such as the Talisman of Luck, Ring of Wizard, etc.—to disappear.

One more point regarding equipment upgrading: I’ve noticed that items which have had the "Luck" stat added via a Jewel do not receive a success rate bonus when upgraded at the Goblin Machine. For instance, when upgrading to +11, a standard item with "Luck" has a 75% success rate, whereas an item that had "Luck" added via a Jewel only shows a 60% success rate.

Hi DarkWizard, thanks for the report. We tested it: Luck added with a Jewel of Luck gives exactly the same Goblin Machine bonus as natural Luck, so everything works correctly.

The difference you saw comes from the item type, not from the Luck. Since the last update, plain (non-excellent) items have higher upgrade rates than excellent ones. At +11 a plain item with Luck shows 75%, while an excellent item with Luck shows 60%. Most likely you compared a plain item with an excellent one. As mentioned in the update notes, the higher plain-item rates don't apply to wings either.

We tested the Sort button on a test character with a bag just like yours: Talismans of Chaos Assembly, Talismans of Luck, Wizards Rings, partial potion stacks, jewels and boxes. We sorted several times and every item stayed in the bag. Sort only moves items and merges partial stacks of the same item, and it never removes talismans or rings.

We also checked your character, but there is no record showing how these items left your bag, so we can't confirm a loss from Sort. If you can, please tell us how many of each item you had, where you got them, and roughly when you last saw them. A screenshot from before would help a lot.

Are you sure those were bound items? Only items that are bound—such as those obtained during events—cannot be traded. I lost 4 ToCAs and a few JOLs (I don’t recall the exact number). I later tested this on another account and the same thing happened. ring of wizard (0/30) was deleted.

The Sort button deleted items whose durability was 0, and that's exactly what happened to your ToCAs and Jewels. We reproduced it on our test server and fixed it, and the fix goes live with tonight's update.
